What is a foreign language for? It is for communication.

Unfortunately, teachers in many schools forget about this, making learning a foreign language a monotonous process of learning rules and
fulfilling boring tasks, completely ignoring communication. Without speaking practice, you will not be able to master a foreign
language.

How to start talking without knowing rules?

Undoubtedly, they need to be mastered. Among various methods used by Lingolands to study grammar rules, one should highlight the method of "guided discovery", which allows a student to derive rules under a teacher's guidance. For example, you read the text in which a grammar rule is regularly found, find it with help of a teacher's hints, analyze and derive rules; perform tasks and communicate with the teacher, practice rules. This method can be applied not only to adults but also to children. For the latter, materials are selected in the form of games, corresponding to their interests and level of perception. At the same time, we spend a lot of time communicating in a foreign language.

In general, in our school, teachers are doing everything possible to make students talk in English; they literally immerse them in atmosphere imitating the natural environment of communication in a foreign language through situational role-playing games, discussions and other exercises.

Particular attention is paid to encourage listening, which is a prerequisite for learning any foreign language. Our students not only listen to audio materials selected in accordance with their level but also watch numerous videos that are available in our library and sorted by various topics and categories.

Attitude to students

Every person is an individual. Everyone has their own preferences, their own abilities, learning rhythm and preferences. Each person learns information in different ways. Lingolands takes this into account when planning a curriculum.

In our school, when conducting individual classes, we will select a separate program for each student, and for group classes, for that group. The individual characteristics of students are taken into account: interest, age, reaction rate, perception of information.

We do not put pressure on our students, we foster their desire to be our friends. We try to be not just friends, but loyal, sincere, helpful and sympathetic mentors.

Our teachers

All our teachers are graduates and have experience in teaching foreign languages. We work only with teachers who speak fluent foreign languages, or with native speakers. It is very important for us that our employees can easily support a conversation in a foreign language, have lesson planning skills, are friendly and can interest students.

The salary of employees in our school exceeds the salary offered by our competitors. You ask, what does this have to do with learning directly? The answer is simple: the whole point is that wages are one of the most motivating factors for any teacher. Having a low salary, they will not be interested in lessons, and this will necessarily affect the quality of education.
